SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking the public for help in a hit-and-run investigation that occurred in Spartanburg County.
Troopers said the incident happened on Ezell Road near Alan Ray Drive south of Chesnee around 9:35 p.m. Wednesday.
According to troopers, an unknown vehicle was traveling north on Ezell Road and hit a pedestrian that was lying in the road from a previous crash on a scooter.
Authorities said the pedestrian was seriously injured in the hit-and-run. The suspect's vehicle fled the scene.
The make and the model of the suspect vehicle are unknown at this time.
