WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WETM) -- The Schuyler County Italian American Festival kicks off its return at Clute Park in Watkins Glen after a year.

Vendors were getting things set up on Thursday before the venue opened to the public. This year's festival is expected to have live entertainment, food, fireworks, and other activities for festivalgoers. Around 40 vendors are set up, offering crafts and food.

Mona Cardinale, who has been coming to the festival for more than 10 years, described it as having everything in one area by the lake, with attractions for kids and plenty of food for people to explore.
