Some of the best young golfers in the game completed their second round in the Roper Honda American Junior Golf Association Junior Championships Thursday at Twin Hills, with a handful of local athletes joining the 78-person field.
Carl Junction's Logan Lowry struggled Wednesday and on the first three holes Thursday, but was solid for the rest of the second round.
Lowry is tied for 18th with five other golfers heading into Friday's final round. He struggled early in the first round, carding bogeys on five holes while logging birdies on two. Lowry finished the opening round with a 3-over 75.
