TYLER COUNTY, Texas — A Houston man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities said they found large quantities of drugs, a handgun and cash during a traffic stop in Tyler County on Aug. 12.
According to the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office, deputies, along with the Tyler County District Attorney’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety, were conducting a joint operation on the east and southeast sides of the county when they stopped a silver Chevrolet Impala for a traffic violation on Highway 190 near Dam B at about 4:30 p.m.
