CALCASIEU PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- An ongoing joint investigation led to 13 felony arrests and the seizure of firearms and drugs, deputies said.

According to officials, the joint operations have resulted in • 13 felony arrests • 7 firearms seized (1 reported stolen) • Over 14.1 ounces of marijuana • 12 Xanax pills • 9 pressed fentanyl pills

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff shared how operations that began in July focused on areas at local bars and establishments where individuals are gathering outside, in parking lots, and participating in criminal activity.
