Last year’s Cincinnati Open champion is just two wins away from repeating atop the field at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.

With the win (6-0 and 6-2), Sinner moves on to the semifinals of the Cincinnati Open in Mason for the second straight year.

The 23-year-old Sinner won his 25th consecutive hard court match on Thursday, joining Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal as the only players to accomplish that feat in the 21st century.
