LAKE PLACID, N.Y. —
American skeleton slider Mystique Ro is recovering from a knee injury and preparing for her first Olympic appearance after a successful 2025 season. Ro, who suffered a knee hyperextension last October during the International Bobsled and Skeleton Federation season, is optimistic about her progress.
"It's coming on pretty good, and some rehab, and I'm using the sports facilities here; it's been really great to help with that," Ro said. Advertisement
Despite the injury occurring just weeks before the IBSF World Cup Tour, Ro achieved her best performance at the IBSF World Championships, earning a silver medal in the individual women's race and a gold medal in the mixed team competition.
