A former KSTP meteorologist is suing the St. Paul-based news station, claiming she was subjected to sexual harassment and retaliation during her time there.

Wren Clair, who worked as a meteorologist at KSTP for almost seven years, alleges that she experienced “severe, overtly sexist conduct by her coworkers and superiors," including lewd comments about her body and appearance.

Clair, who goes by the name Renee Fox in the lawsuit, claims that she was demoted, fired and replaced with "a less qualified man" after she repeatedly reported the alleged misconduct.

Earlier this year, Clair abruptly left KSTP before joining KARE 11 several months later. The lawsuit claims that KSTP demoted her last October and fired her in February, despite her having more than two years left on her contract.
