We're learning new details about a man who drowned after running into a fast-moving, flooded creek near East Brainerd Road on Tuesday.
The Chattanooga Police Department says that firefighters saw the man run past safety barricades and yellow tape that had been placed to keep people from getting too close to floodwaters.

These incidents bring the total death count from severe storms in the Tennessee Valley to four.
Despite repeated verbal commands to stop, he continued forward. He fell into the fast-moving creek, and was carried under the roadway through a culvert.
Crews searched for hours that night, but were unable to locate him.
