A series of road closures will be in effect throughout the city this weekend due to major events and construction projects. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, seek alternate routes, and follow posted detour signs.

RIVER GAMES CHATTANOOGA

Riverfront Parkway will close in phases for the River Games:

Phase 1: Friday, August 15 at 8:30 AM – Saturday, August 16 at 7 AM

Riverfront Parkway between Power Alley and Chestnut Street closed

No trucks over 2 axles between W MLK Blvd and Aquarium Way (except local deliveries)

Phase 2: Saturday, August 16 at 7 AM – Sunday, August 17 at 7 AM

Riverfront Parkway between Molly Lane and Aquarium Way closed

Parking restricted in the closure zone

Truck restrictions continue

Access to Southern Belle, SpringHill Suites, and Scottie’s via W MLK B
