LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- The third annual Free Clothing Drive kicks off Saturday at the Palm Lutheran Church in Palmyra.

Ahead of the event, volunteers sorted tables of clothing. The church started the drive in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic as it searched for new ways to serve the community.

The pastor said since then, it's caught on.

"Word spreads around a very large area, as well," said Pastor Carl Rabbe. "So, we've heard from folks as far away as Lancaster, as Harrisburg, as all many other communities in the area that will say, 'Hey, we heard about this. We heard you're giving away clothing.' And they're here, and again, anyone who comes through the door is more than welcome."
