Betty Kathleen Moore, age 78 , passed away peacefully on August 11 th , 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah. Known for her strength, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family and cats, Betty touched the lives of many throughout her 78 years. Not long after graduating beauty school, she moved to NJ and opened a beauty shop appropriately named Beauty by Betty, in Linden, NJ. She experienced various cultures and made lifelong friends. Betty relocated back home to Paducah in the eighties to be close to her family, especially her mother, whom she adored. In 2017 she would end her nearly 60 years of being a hairdresser. She spent many years making others feel beautiful and confident through her work, and even more years making them feel loved through her friendship and humor.
