BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man who pleaded no contest to sexual battery in an attack on a woman who was exercising in northeast Bakersfield was sentenced Thursday to four years in prison.
Anton Kelly Hill will also have to register as a sex offender.
Hill was arrested Feb. 9, 2023, on suspicion of attacking a woman and attempting to rape her as she exercised on Panorama Drive near Morning Drive. He fled but a witness followed and directed officers to him, police said.
He was 24 at the time.
Released on bail, Hill was rearrested in June 2023 after surveillance footage captured him masturbating in a pool house while watching people use an apartment pool near Brimhall and Coffee roads, police said in a court filing. He was charged with a misdemeanor.
