The Green Bay Packers suffered a big scare during the first game of their NFL preseason. Their starting quarterback, Jordan Love, suffered an injury and his future was in jeopardy. Now, head coach Matt LaFleur has provided good news for the Cheeseheads and it only took him three words.
LaFleur explained that Jordan Love had to undergo a procedure to repair a ligament in his left thumb. “Surgery went well,” LaFleur said to Ashley Washburn of TMJ4 Milwaukee. “He’s in great spirits and he’s here with us. So, now it’s just about putting in the work to get the thumb rehabbed.”
Even better, the timeframe for Love’s return is very soon. According to LaFleur,“I wouldn’t say right away, but we anticipate there will be some sort of participation next week.” This puts him on pace to easily recover
