A new civilian-led version of the reality competition series “ The Traitors ” is heading to NBC with Alan Cumming as the host.

The announcement was made by Cumming at the inaugural Televerse 2025 conference during “The Traitors: Reality Competition Program Nominee FYC Panel” at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The panel featured past “Traitors” competitors Bob The Drag Queen, Rob Mariano, Cirie Fields, Kate Chastain and Phaedra Parks.

“The money will mean more to them,” Cumming said during the panel, revealing this will be shot in the spring. “I’m pretty excited about it. I think it’s going to be a hoot.”
