CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The state has rested its case against a Charleston man accused of killing his cousin after calling in numerous expert witnesses.

Antonio Green Jr., 22, faces charges of murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime from an October 2021 shooting.

The state says Brian Sease and Derrick Stewart were also charged in this crime. Sease is expecting a trial at a later date. The state says Stewart has signed a plea agreement for voluntary manslaughter to avoid more prison time.

The Charleston County Coroner pronounced Travis Terrell Green, 22, dead from a gunshot wound on Oct. 30, 2021. The shooting took place at around 2:30 p.m. at the Pinecrest Greene apartments on Raoul Wallenberg Boulevard in West Ashley.
