Albia was treated to an evening of family friendly entertainment when the first Music on the Square event was held last Thursday. Strong storms overnight and in the early morning brought worries about how the weather might affect the event, but the storms had cleared up by mid-day allowing hundreds to run out for the evening of food and music.
Food trucks lined up on the south side of the square and attendees were able to pick up $10 food vouchers to help offset meal costs.
People were able to begin hitting the food trucks and set up their seating at 5 p.m. with music beginning at 6 p.m.
