GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH) — A person had to be extricated from a vehicle following a crash at the intersection of West Granby Road and Barn Door Hills Road on Thursday, according to Granby police.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., first responders found a person entrapped inside a vehicle and was removed by Lost Acres firefighters. The person was alert and conscious once removed from the vehicle and was transported to Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford with non-life-threatening injuries.

A man and two minor children were in the other vehicle, but no injuries were reported.

Granby police are still investigating the crash and are asking anyone who witnessed it to contact Officer Dzierzgowski at 860-844-5335.
