SAN JOSE – Prospects from the San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, and Los Angeles Kings will take part in the newly formed — and slimmed-down — Golden State Rookie Faceoff i n Irvine next month.

The event takes place from Sept. 12-14 at Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena. Each team will play two games, with the Sharks playing the Ducks on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. and the Kings on Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. The Sharks will begin their main training camp in San Jose shortly afterward.

Tickets are $15 per game and are available on the Ducks’ website. Both Sharks games will also be free to stream on the team’s website without regional restrictions.

The Sharks’ roster for the event will be announced at a later date, but, as of now, it figures to include defenseman Sam Dickinson and forward Michae
