A man who allegedly threw chunks of concrete at officers conducting an immigration enforcement operation in Paramount, and was added to the FBI’s “Most Wanted list”, pleaded not guilty Thursday to a federal charge.

Elpidio Reyna, 39, of Compton faces four felony counts of assault on a federal officer, court papers show.

A trial was tentatively set for Sept. 30 in L.A. federal court.

Reyna was taken into custody July 23 at the U.S.-Mexico border in a negotiated surrender, the FBI stated.

The defendant allegedly threw concrete rocks at law enforcement on June 7 on Alondra Boulevard, “injuring a federal officer and damaging government vehicles,” according to the FBI’s Los Angeles field office.
