PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — If you want to wash down your hot wieners with a cold beer, you'll have to visit the Olneyville New York System in Cranston.

The Providence Board of Licenses has once again rejected the Heritage Restaurant Group's request to sell alcohol at the Olneyville New York System in the capital city.

The board overwhelmingly turned down the Plainfield Street restaurant's liquor license application in a 4-1 vote Thursday evening.

This is the second time the Providence Board of Licenses has denied the Heritage Restaurant Group's liquor license application, with the first happening back in June.
