BOULDER, Colo. (WOWT) - Officials in Colorado say they believe they’ve found the body of an Omaha man who has been missing in Rocky Mountain National Park since Monday.

Family of Blake Kieckhafer, 23, reported him missing to park rangers. According to an update from the park, he had last been seen at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, when he was dropped off by a ride-share.

On Wednesday, investigators focused the search efforts of more than 80 people on the Emerald Lake area.

The Larimer County Coroner’s Office is working to positively confirm the identity of the body using DNA.

“Once the identification is properly made and the next-of-kin is aware, our office will update the press release to reflect the official identity along with the cause and manner of death,” the coroner’s office
