KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County prosecutors announced they will seek consecutive sentences to obtain the maximum sentence allowed under Tennessee law for Trinity Clark.
Clark was convicted Wednesday for her role in a 2023 drag racing crash that killed 65-year-old Michael Williams and seriously injured two of his grandchildren.
Clark and another driver, Tra'shawn Glass, were both in Dodge Chargers racing on Magnolia Avenue in January 2023. Their cars crashed into Williams' SUV.
Clark was found guilty on all 14 charges, which include vehicular homicide by drag racing and reckless aggravated assault. 10News legal expert Don Bosch said she could be facing up to 20 years in prison.
After the verdict on Wednesday, Clark had her bond revoked by Judge Scott Green and was taken into custody.
