CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A statewide nonpartisan advocacy organization called Fund Our Schools said that its important to stay involved with community efforts to protect students and education amid threats to federal funding.

Earlier this summer, Charlottesville and Albemarle county schools were threatened with proposed federal cuts to their classrooms.
