LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Wesleyan opened preseason practice under the Abel Stadium lights on Thursday. The Prairiewolves worked out on their new turf, which includes black end zones and was installed this summer.
Nebraska Wesleyan hopes to rebound from a 3-7 record last season. Quarterback Connor White returns after passing for nearly 1,700 yards.
NWU head coach Brian Keller believes the team’s strength will be up front. The Prairiewolves have five offensive linemen back, while the defensive front will be anchored by Waverly native Hunter Hanke.
Nebraska Wesleyan opens the 2025 campaign on Septmeber 6th at Dakota State.
