JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - The streets of Junction City are alive with the vibrant sounds and delightful smells of Nordic heritage during the 64th annual festival. This four-day celebration remains free to enter, making it as accessible to the community now as it was decades ago.

"I think a lot of it has to do with family tradition, it's an heirloom almost of its own. It gets passed down through the generations and its cherished and loved by the people, as its passed along," said Rabecca MacDonald, the publicity and marketing chair for the Scandinavian Cultural Foundation.
