Lil Yachty has claimed he "manifested" his collaborations with Drake.
The rapper declared he had communed with a "higher power" to achieve his dream.
"I manifested it, bro," Lil Yachty, whose birth name is Miles Parks McCollum, told PlaqueBoyMax's streaming channel, before adding he had been under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs at the time.
"I was doing acid one night and I was like, 'Man, I would really love to work with Drake. That's one of my favourite rappers.' I was just talking to the abyss."
Lil, 27, claimed he had tapped into a spiritual realm during the experience.
"I was speaking to, like, a higher power, and I manifested it. I did," he said. "This was years ago. This was before we ever did anything."
Despite following each other on social media, he explained, he and Drake had never worked together until his transcendental encounter.
"He followed me, we was cool... but, like, I wanted to have a relationship," he admitted. "That's one of my best friends. Manifestation is real."
The artist, who has worked with Drake on at least three of the rapper's albums, went on to say he believed he had "manifested" his entire career as a rap star.
"I manifested getting on, becoming famous, becoming a rapper," he said. "All this s**t is manifestation. You gotta speak this s**t into existence."
