A person was hospitalized after being extricated from a vehicle following a two-car crash in Granby on Thursday evening.
The Granby Police Department received multiple 911 calls around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday reporting a motor vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of West Granby Road and Barn Door Hills Road, according to the department.
First responders from the Granby Police Department, Lost Acres Fire Department, Granby Ambulance and Simsbury Ambulance responded to the scene, police said.
Officers observed a person entrapped inside one of the vehicles, according to police. The fire department started to extricate the trapped driver who was conscious and alert once removed from the vehicle, police said.
