A White Pine couple is facing charges in the death of their five-year-old child.

The White Pine Police Department said officers served indictments to William Sipple and Shirley Hurst on Thursday in the death of their daughter, Aurora Hurst.

Police arrested and charged the two with aggravated child abuse in connection with the death.

According to police, officers responded to a call on Nov. 19, 2024, around 2:30 p.m. on Harrison Road. When they arrived, they found the five-year-old dead.
