SALT LAKE CITY — A former Salt Lake police officer accused of stalking a former girlfriend was arrested Thursday and accused of sending another officer explicit pictures of his ex-girlfriend.

Todd Douglas Goodsell, 40, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of two counts of distribution of an intimate image and violating a protective order.

In June, Goodsell was charged in 3rd District Court with stalking , a third-degree felony. In that case, a woman ended a long-term relationship with Goodsell in November. But after that, Goodsell “would continuously attempt to contact (the woman) through various means including text, email, phone calls and several apps,” according to charging documents.
