PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. — A major financial controversy is unfolding at EDUPRIZE School in Queen Creek, where members of the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) say they cannot account for nearly $300,000 in funds.
The school’s PTO, which organizes events like daddy-daughter dances, school field trips, and book fundraisers, is now under new leadership after the previous board president was removed from her position two weeks ago. According to PTO members, the ouster stemmed from concerns about “financial accountability.”
