WALHALLA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Oconee County Coroner’s Office reports a man died after crash near Walhalla on Thursday.

The coroner said Oconee 911 Communications was told a motorcycle and another vehicle collided head-on before 8:15 p.m. on Highway 183.

The motorcyclist from Spartanburg County died at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the coroner.

The victim has not yet been identified.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
