WATERBURY, Conn. — A motorcyclist who died after a collision with a vehicle in Waterbury Tuesday has been identified, according to the city's police department.
First responders brought the man who was riding the motorcycle to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. as On Thursday, police identified the victim as Dennis Barriera, 41, of Waterbury.
The crash happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of East Main Street and Baldwin Street. Police said road closures in the area are still in effect as the Waterbury Police Crash Reconstruction Unit investigates.
The other person involved in the collision remained at the scene and was not hurt, police said.
