SUPERIOR, Wisc. (Northern News Now) - Since 2014, the Northland K-9 Foundation has brought local law enforcement agencies together for a community-based night of fun to showcase the talent of their K-9’s.
This year was no different as K-9s from six different Northland agencies gathered at the Wessman Arena to showcase some training exercises.
Officers simulated legitimate crime situations for a capacity crowd like traffic stops and much more.
In addition to the K-9 fun, there was a rock climbing wall, a bounce house, games, a silent auction, and great food.
This was Northlander Peter Lue’s second operation K-9. He had such a great time last year he came back.
“Very family-oriented for adults and kids, and I enjoyed watching the performance by the dogs,” said Lue.
