Less than 24 hours before President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s scheduled meeting, a group of pro-Ukrainian supporters gathered in Alaska.
According to one of the organizers of Stand Up Alaska, about 1,000 people attended the rally.
They waved flags and held signs to show solidarity with Ukraine.
Many expressed concerns about the talks and protested the visit from both leaders.
Some also voiced frustration that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not included in the meeting.
