LUCEDALE, Miss. (WLOX) - The Deuce Knight era has ended in George County.

While the Rebels’ success through the air couldn’t be understated last season, bringing the Rebels to their traditional smashmouth style of play is the task for new head coach Kelly Causey. Changes are coming all over for George County with a new head coach and a new signal caller, with a quarterback competition in full swing.

“We did lose a great athlete,” noted new head coach Kelly Causey. “A great quarterback that could throw all over the place. We went into this summer and the spring trying to go back to running the ball a little bit more. The quarterback situation is kind of up in the air. We’ve got a couple of guys fighting for that.
