Dozens of dads showed up with their daughters Thursday for the event " Daddies Do Hair Too ."

The experience was not only informative but also an important bonding opportunity for fathers and daughters.

"I have had Amira here in my custody since 2021, and I've always kind of struggled to do her hair," said Clermont County dad Patrick Foxton. "I have six kids and they have all different textured hair, so it was very nice to learn and then see her confidence."

Rasheenah McManis was a volunteer hairstylist for the event. She said this is a formative experience for these young women.
