At the height of this past weekend's relentless rain and subsequent flooding, officers from the Greenfield Police Department in Wisconsin were among the many first responders helping residents trapped in their vehicles.

"Knee-high water, very fast current," one officer said in the video, while walking through the water to a woman's car.

Eventually, he and another officer get to the woman, and they escort her back to the part of the street that was not flooded.

Along the way, the officer tried to keep the woman calm.

Woman: Just a little scary

Officer: Yeah, it's a little much tonight.

Woman: I've never experienced something like this.

Officer: Well, you know what, neither have I, so we'll get it figured out. There you go.
