The Texas Well Owner Network will offer a free event testing well water for those impacted by the July floods Aug. 21-22.
What you need to know
Well owners who need their water tested can drop off their samples 8:30-11 a.m. Aug. 21 at the Texas A&M Agrilife extension office for Williamson County, located at 100 Wilco Way, Ste. AG201, Georgetown, according to a news release from the network.

Samples will be screened for contaminants, according to the network.
A follow-up meeting to discuss the screening results for samples will be offered at 11 a.m. Aug. 22. This meeting will provide well owners with information about their samples, as well as information about how to address any noted issues.
