FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Charges have been filed against a Tollhouse man, accused of sex crimes against a minor while he was a bus driver for Sierra Unified School District.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says 39-year-old Charles Ferguson was arrested back in April following an investigation into allegations of sex abuse that happened during his time with the district.

Sierra Unified confirmed to Action News that Ferguson was a bus driver from 2017 to 2020 and has not been employed with them since.

He posted bail a day after the April arrest and was released.

After learning new information, detectives arrested him again on August 8, with the District Attorney's office filing charges.

He has since posted bond.

Ferguson is due back in court on August 22 to be arraigned.
