(FOX40.COM) -- Festival goers are searching for answers after news that the highly anticipated Sol Blume event at Discovery Park in Sacramento won't be kicking off Friday as scheduled.

Sol Blume is one of the area's biggest festivals. It was scheduled to run from Friday through Sunday with a star-studded lineup that included celebrity singers like SZA, Wale, Jojo, Ari Lennox, and Doechii. The event was originally scheduled to happen in 2024 but was delayed another year because of weather-related issues, according to Sol Blume's Instagram page.

"Mother nature has once again caused commotion and created conditions at the festival site that render it unsafe to build on," organizers said on IG. "Although the park is no longer flooded, the damage remains."
