Wawa will soon open its first-ever travel center — but it won’t be in New Jersey, one of the first states to house the popular convenience store chain that started more than 200 years ago.
The chain known for its hoagies and coffee will open an 8,000-square-foot travel center in Hope Mills, North Carolina, on Aug. 28, according to a company release.
