LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Nevada’s unemployment rate remains among one of the highest in the nation.

According to reports its more than a percentage point above the national average.

It has been among the top states for more than three years now. New numbers released Thursday show the state’s unemployment rate hovering at 5.4 percent .
