INDIANAPOLIS — Kyra Lambert’s basketball career has followed a long, winding path.
Ranked ninth nationally and a McDonald’s All-American coming out of high school, the 5-9 point guard overcame two knee injuries during her five-year run at Duke, then transferred to Texas where she helped the Longhorns reach the Elite Eight in 2020-21, averaging 7.0 points and 3.1 assists over 29 games.
