Tesco has issued a product recall for a number of its health and beauty items due to safety concerns. The supermarket giant has alerted customers that several batches of its Tesco Kind and Pure Facial Cleansing Wipes have been recalled due to unsatisfactory microbiological testing results.

Tests detected the presence of Pluralibacter gergoviae bacteria, potentially making these products potentially unsafe for use. The recall, initiated as a precautionary measure, was announced on July 29.

The affected products are:
