Nottingham Forest have “lost a very good opportunity to do things better” this summer, says boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Reds kick off the new Premier League season against Brentford at the City Ground on Sunday (2pm).

Nuno has opened up on his concerns ahead of the match and has also admitted his squad is “unbalanced” and lacking options in “many positions”.

Forest have signed Dan Ndoye, Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha, as well as backup goalkeeper Angus Gunn, so far during the summer transfer window .

It is also understood they have agreed a deal worth up to £30m with Manchester City for England Under-21 captain James McAtee and around £37m for Ipswich forward Omari Hutchinson.
