Paul Merson and Chris Sutton have weighed in on Nottingham Forest vs Brentford

Nottingham Forest are kicking off their Premier League campaign against Brentford.

And boss Nuno Espirito Santo has raised his concerns about a less than ideal pre-season, telling Sky Sports : "We are very far - very, very far - from where we should be. We are very far in terms of preparation, in terms of planning, in terms of the squad."

Writing for BBC Sport , pundit Chris Sutton believes the season opener will be a good test to see what both sides are made of.
