RPD: Woman stabbed to death, suspect shot on Spencer Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after a stabbing and shooting on Spencer Street.

Officers arrived at the scene Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. and found a woman in her 30s with a stab wound and a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound. Both were taken to the hospital. The woman was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, and the man is listed in critical condition.

According to investigators, the man and woman were in an argument that escalated into a fight. It was alleged that the man stabbed the woman, but someone else shot the man.
