Holidaymakers on two easyJet flights suffered a bumpy start to their getaway after the planes clipped wings at Manchester Airport .
The aircraft made contact at around 6.30am this morning (August 15) as the two flights were due to take off.
All flights were briefly grounded at the airport while urgent safety checks took place at the scene.
Airport workers were seen picking up pieces of wing which had come off the flights involved in the collision.
