A passenger on one of the planes involved in a collision at Manchester Airport said it felt like 'being rear ended in a car.'
The wing tips of two easyJet planes, one bound for Paris and one for Gibraltar, made contact with each other whilst heading to the runway ahead of their early morning flights today (Friday).
The airline said an 'immediate investigation' had been launched with the two planes grounded and alternative arrangements being made for passengers.
Tynisha Chaudhry, 21 from Wilmslow , was travelling to Gibraltar with her partner.
